The Steelers surprised me yesterday after how bad they had played the previous two weeks! Beating the Colts who came in as the top team in the NFL was very sweet!
The seventh game of the World Series last night was really exciting! I was hoping the Blue Jays would pull off the win but the Dodgers are really a great team!

Cold and rainy day!
Turns out there is something else wrong with my garage door opener so I will need to call the company I have used in the past when my garage door springs have broken.
My garage door opener belt loosened up the other day and now can’t lift the door. After looking at it I realized I needed a flexible wrench to reach the nut that tightens the belt. I ordered one yesterday and it is being delivered today from Amazon. Hopefully this will fix the problem.
Discovered a relatively new terminal emulator called Ghostty yesterday. It was recommended by Will McGugan’s in his Toad repository that I’m just starting to test. Toad is a universal interface to AI agents that you run in the terminal. It’s built with Will’s Textual, a rapid application development platform for Python that lets you run TUIs run in the terminal. Very cool!
There was literally frost on the pumpkins this morning! Fall is here to stay!

Another cloudy and chilly morning! The Penguins game last night was really fun to watch! There seems to be more jump to their game compared to the last couple of years. Maybe the change of coaching staff and philosophy was what they needed!

Picking up my wife and daughter from the airport this afternoon after they have spent the last 5 days in Walt Disney World where the temps were in the 80s! They will be in shock when they land and the temp is in the low 50s!
Heading over to the office today to get some equipment installed so I can access it remotely.
High winds knocked out my power for a couple of hours overnight! So much for the summer like temps as a cold front came through yesterday and fall has returned!
Strong summer like storms moving in this afternoon with gusty winds! Really hoping the repair work we had done on the roof hold up!
