Watched the first six episodes of The Residence on Netflix last night and really enjoyed it! I plan on finishing the last two episodes tonight! 😃

Spent the evening learning about Pydantic AI and Model Context Protocol. Still a lot more to learn, but it’s very cool! 😊

I just heard that Pope Francis has passed away. I’m not Catholic, but I thought he was a good man. Sadly, our country is being run by an idiot, mean-spirited child-man.

I’ve been exploring different MCP servers today and came across a Spotify implementation that lets me play music from Claude Desktop. Very cool!

It’s a beautiful sunny Easter Sunday with the temps being a bit cooler than yesterday!

Working for my daughter out at the I Made It Market retail store in the Mall at Robinson. I always enjoy talking with the customers. 😊

Hopefully going to carve out time to get back to working with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) today, including seeing how it would work with Ollama.

Worked with my daughter last night on her new web site, making great progress. Need to clean up some under-the-hood stuff today while she works on the design.

Typical April spring day with possible thunderstorms and a high in the low 70s! I’m not complaining! 😃

My daughter’s 412 Fest show yesterday was fun and a great success! A lot of the team mascots were on hand, plus good music and good food. Looking forward to next year’s festival!

Had a really interesting meeting yesterday with one of my consulting clients who helps raise capital for startups. They have a customer who is involved with smart building technology and they use Raspberry Pi for their hardware platform. Could be quite fun!

I was successful last night tracking down a bug in my Micro.blog MCP server edit tool. It wasn’t adding the tags via Claude Desktop, but once I added logging into my Python code, I was able to determine that I had to convert the string being passed to a list. Once I figured that out, adding tags were working successfully, although I do have more work to do around tags.

Using Claude Desktop is a dream when it comes to working on my Micro.blog site!

My plan today is to continue working on my Micro.blog MCP server, adding in additional features including editing.

I use Warp for my terminal and I was having some problems with a Python script that I wanted to use in an MCP server when its built-in AI offered to examine my code. I was impressed how, after a few iterations, it was able to eliminate the bugs and produce a script that I was able to incorporate into my MCP server.

I can’t believe it snowed overnight! Not much, but either way it was a shock to my system!
