Have hooked up NetNewsWire on all of my devices to my Tailscale hosted FreshRSS instance and everything is working smoothly. I only need to remember to turn on Tailscale on both my iPhone and my iPad Pro to be able to get updates no matter where I am. Makes me want to see what else can I host on my Raspberry Pi 5 as a Tailcale node. 😎
Yesterday afternoon I came across this article about setting up a FreshRSS instance as a Tailscale node on my Tailscale network using Docker. I ended up installing the server on one of my Raspberry Pi 5s and it really works well. I just have to remember to turn on Tailscale on whatever device I’m using to access the feeds.
Ended up not going over to the office yesterday. We are now scheduled for Thursday. In the meantime the garage door people are coming this afternoon to replace my broken spring.

Going to a wedding of my daughter’s best friend in Portersville where my my favorite uncle of my wife lived until he passed away. The wedding is an indoor/outdoor type of thing which will be cold but sunny!
Merged the TUI bug fixes with the newer code on dev for !A testing.
Fixed an obscure bug in the TUI that was causing an ugly crash when holding the up/down arrow to quickly move through the tree view.
Still digging into the customer issue with the TUI app.
Yesterday I had to dig into a customer issue with the TUI and discovered some obscure bugs in the logic. I corrected them and today will be about testing and seeing if there are any other bugs.
Turns out the remnants of hurricane Isaias came through Ligonier late Saturday night and forced the cancellation of the final day of Fort Ligonier Days. Our main 10 x 20 tent got ruined mostly by the wind and we lost some inventory. We’re going to gather all of the video and pictures we took of the aftermath to turn in to our insurance.
Final day of the Fort Ligonier Days and it’s going to be a wet one at least through the first half of the day.
