Yesterday my brother in law and youngest son worked on repairing our deck that had some rot on one edge due to water build up. The local electric company cut down a lot of trees behind the houses on my street so they wouldn’t interfere with the wires. Because of this mess water that used to be soaked up by the trees start pooling up behind the wall framing our deck which caused the rotting to occur. We had a new wall put in about 2 months ago so hopefully these deck repairs will be the final work needed to be done. They didn’t quite get finished due to rain moving in but my brother in law was planning on coming over today to complete the job.
